  • How can I get there? Are there buses to Lansdowne & TD Place?

    Certainly. Check out the TD place guide for your best options.

    Free OC Transpo to and from the event 3 hours before and after the event Friday and Saturday. You must show a valid festival ticket.

  • Ticket Options

    General Admission festival passes will be available for purchase online and available onsite at the City of OM box office in the Aberdeen Pavilion on festival day. Tickets sales start March 2025.

  • What should I wear?

    Wear weather-appropriate comfortable clothing that allows you to move is best. Don’t forget to rock your own unique style!

  • What should I bring?

    Bring as little as possible to the event to keep things simple! Here are the essentials:

    • Yoga Mat*

    • Sunscreen

    • Cash/Credit/Debit

    • Your favourite humans

    A cell phone is a great way to take photos and stay in touch with friends during the festival, however we ask that you please turn your phone off or on silent during yoga classes and workshops. Be present for your practice and mindful of others!

    *A limited amount of yoga mats and reusable water bottles available for purchase onsite.

  • What about bad weather?

    We are no strangers to unpredictable climates; the festival is RAIN OR SHINE!  In the event of severe inclement weather, the outdoor yoga classes will be relocated to indoor venues onsite.

  • What level of fitness or yoga do you need to be at to attend?

    Yoga and wellness is for EVERYBODY! City of Om has something for everyone. From expert to curious, newbies to experienced yogis alike!  Listen to your body, go at your own pace and have fun!   

  • How accessible is the event?

    City of Om 2023 is an accessible event that offers services to make the event more accessible to all attendees. Your ticket allows you to ride OC Transpo for free and Para-Transpo drop off is available. There is no parking onsite during the festival. The accessibility drop-off location is along Exhibition Way near the South West corner of the Aberdeen Pavilion. Festival terrain is largely flat, with paved pathways, and there are accessible washrooms onsite. Patrons with a disability who require an attendant are welcome to bring one attendant to the festival at no extra cost; please visit the ticket booth upon arrival.  

    * Please note that the festival does not provide wheelchairs for patron use at the festival.

  • I’d like to volunteer! How do I apply?

    Volunteer Applications open mid April 2025. As a valued volunteer, your commitment and dedication play a crucial role in the success of our event. We kindly request that you make yourself available for a 5-hour shift during the festival. In appreciation of your contribution, we are delighted to offer you an exclusive OM branded volunteer t-shirt or tank top and a general admission pass to the festival and 1x meal during the day.

  • 5K Run - What is included in the Fun Run?

    The 5k Fun Run includes:

    · A well-marked route along the picturesque Rideau Canal;

    · A cheer squad to encourage you along the way;

    · Bag check at Aberdeen Pavilion;

    · A treat from Pure Kitchen at the finish line.

  • 5K Run - Who can run with me?

    The 5k Fun Run is open to everyone! Runners can bring their pets and children in strollers along with them on the run. Pets must be on-leash and under control at all times during the run.

  • What events do children have access to for free? And up to what age?

    Kids aged 12 and under can accompany an adult for free and the Lil Omies Zone is open to the public!
